Flexologist (Part-Time)

About the role

StretchLab, a franchisee of the independent StretchLab brand founded in 2015, is looking for a part-time Flexologist in McAllen. Flexologists provide one-on-one assisted stretching in the studio and at pop-up events, and can lead guided group stretching classes. The franchisee makes hiring decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one assisted stretches in the studio and at pop-up events, and lead guided group stretching classes
• Encourage and motivate clients during stretch sessions
• Build membership and retain clients through sales and outreach to leads
• Deliver a high-quality stretching experience, update client notes and book weekly recurring appointments
• Clean and maintain equipment, and ensure client safety with proper stretch techniques and StretchLab safety rules
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Assist Sales Associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed
• Maintain a strong social media presence focused on membership and retention

Required profile

• Fitness certification required; professional work ethic, reliability and adherence to attendance policies
• Previous experience as a massage therapist, personal trainer, physical therapist, or Pilates or yoga instructor
• Experience providing hands-on training to clients in a fitness or health setting
• Passion for stretching, mobility and flexibility, and a love of a boutique fitness environment
• Excellent communication skills, empathy and ability to connect with people and help them reach their goals
• Availability for 20 hours of online work, a 2-day Flexologist Training Program and in-person hands-on training
