About the role

The Fitness Center Associate provides excellent customer service to members and guests while ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. This role involves front‑desk duties, program information, and supervising children in activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests, address concerns, and solve problems proactively.
  • Provide information on membership, Kidsports, childcare, gymnastics, group fitness, and aquatics.
  • Enforce fitness center policies and maintain a clean, safe work area.
  • Handle cash transactions, bookings, and supervise children in scheduled areas.

Required profile

  • At least 16 years old and enrolled in high school.
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to lift moderate weights, stand for long periods, and perform basic physical tasks.

Required skills

  • Computer and data‑entry skills with Windows‑style applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer‑service abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
