About the role
This part‑time position supports the Department of Juvenile Justice in Thomasville, GA by handling a range of financial and administrative tasks. The role is hourly, 29 hours per week, and does not include benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Verify and code financial data, posting account information.
- Perform data‑entry and routine reconciliations.
- Process receipts, prepare bank deposits and payroll data.
- Prepare payment requests and other clerical duties as needed.
Required profile
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of a basic bookkeeping course or at least one year of accounting/clerical experience.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
