Field Service Professional – Smart Home Solutions

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, where you will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to deliver cutting‑edge smart home technology to residential customers in Reno, NV.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and recommend upgrades or additional services.
• Educate homeowners on system operation to ensure confidence and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of installations and sales activities.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with a strong customer‑first mindset.
• Sales orientation – experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance, or service sales is a plus.
• Technical aptitude – background in cable/satellite install, construction, pest control, or solar is helpful but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer locations.
