Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installation

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG owned company, as a Field Service Professional. You will install cutting‑edge smart home technology and proactively recommend upgrades to ensure customers enjoy safer, more connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems.
• Assess customer homes on‑site and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system usage and best practices.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong integrity and rapport‑building skills.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory driving record, and ability to pass background screening.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, work in attics and varied weather conditions.

Required skills

• Technical aptitude for installing and troubleshooting smart home devices.
• Basic sales mindset; experience in retail, B2C sales, or service‑based sales is a plus.
