Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installation

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, installing and servicing cutting‑edge smart home technology for customers in Statesville, NC. You will work independently while staying connected to a supportive team, delivering safe and connected homes.

Key responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat, and automation systems, including cameras and smart locks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on site.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Conduct onsite evaluations, recommend upgrades, and generate sales through uncapped commission.
• Maintain quality, safety, and installation standards while managing daily appointments and work orders.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Pass background investigation, drug test, and licensing requirements.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Installation and servicing of smart home security systems.

• Troubleshooting technical issues in smart home equipment.
