Field Service Professional – Smart Home Installation

About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG‑owned leader in smart home security, as a Field Service Professional. You will install, service, and support cutting‑edge smart home technology while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat, automation systems, cameras, and smart locks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on‑site solutions.
• Educate customers on product features and functionality.
• Conduct evaluations to recommend upgrades or service enhancements.
• Maintain quality, safety, and installation standards while managing daily appointments and work orders.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, integrity‑driven approach.
• Willingness to learn and use technology, work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, climb ladders, work in attics and varied weather conditions.
