About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home as a Field Service Professional, the face of the company installing cutting‑edge smart home technology and offering customers upgraded solutions for safety and convenience.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, smart locks, and home automation systems in residential settings.
• Evaluate customer homes on‑site, recommend and sell equipment upgrades or service enhancements.
• Educate homeowners on system operation to ensure they can protect their families.
• Maintain safety assessments at each location and adhere to company safety standards.

Required profile

• Customer‑first attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
• Sales mindset; experience in retail, B2C sales, insurance or service sales is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass background screening and licensing requirements.

Required skills

• Technical aptitude for installing and troubleshooting smart home devices (cameras, locks, automation).
• Physical ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, work in attics and varied weather conditions.
• Basic computer and tablet use for job documentation.
