About the role

Join Vivint Smart Home, an NRG‑owned leader in smart home security, as a Field Service Professional in Norman, OK. You will install, service, and support industry‑leading smart home technology while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Install and service smart home security, thermostat, and automation systems, including cameras and smart locks.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, educate customers on product features, and recommend upgrades or service enhancements.
• Manage daily appointments, work orders, and equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass background, drug test, and licensing requirements.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem‑solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and use technology, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Installation and servicing of smart home security systems.
• Configuration of thermostats, cameras, and smart locks.
• Troubleshooting of smart home automation equipment.
