Field Sales Account Executive - Northern Colorado

About the role

The Field Sales Account Executive will own a defined territory in Northern Colorado, building relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists and practice staff to grow adoption of CooperVision’s contact lens portfolio. This role operates independently, using a consultative selling style and requires residence within or near the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales quota by managing a call cycle of 5‑7 pre‑set appointments per workday.
• Develop and execute account business plans with the Regional Director to grow market share.
• Maintain technical proficiency on CVI products and competitive offerings, and stay current with industry trends.
• Use CRM tools (Salesforce, Showpad, Tableau) to track activities, generate reports and analyze territory performance.
• Travel up to 80% within the territory and attend regional optical shows, conferences and training sessions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably with tangible product sales.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to lift up to 50 lb for diagnostic lens sets.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and occasional travel for meetings.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
• Experience using Tableau for data analysis.
• Familiarity with Showpad sales enablement platform.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
