Field Account Manager, Redi Carpet (Greater Los Angeles Area)

About the role

Redi Carpet, a multifamily flooring brand, is hiring a Field Account Manager for the Greater Los Angeles area. You will build relationships with property managers, owners and community teams and drive business growth across your territory. The role involves managing a sales force, designing sales and marketing programs and running a personal vehicle more than 20% of the average work week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and direct a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a territory
• Design and recommend sales and marketing programs and set short- and long-term sales strategies
• Develop and implement sales and customer retention programs
• Plan, forecast and report on sales and competitive pricing activities
• Analyze territory data to identify opportunities for sales and revenue growth
• Interact with customers and internal partners to resolve escalated issues
• Manage and develop direct reports, including outside sales and special product sales, and coach the team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline; generally 7+ years of experience in a related field
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR); a personal vehicle is required
• Ability to spend significant time in the field and to travel overnight more than 50% of the time
