About the role

Join the Police Department at Athens Technical College as a Federal Work‑Study student. You will support daily office operations while gaining experience in a public safety environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Answer phones, make calls, and respond to internal and external program inquiries.
  • Assist with orientations and testing for students.
  • Operate office equipment and perform basic computer work using Microsoft Office and internet research.
  • Run errands on campus as needed.
  • Perform other clerical duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

  • Currently enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and maintaining that enrollment.
  • Meeting Federal Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements.
  • Completed FAFSA for the current aid year.
  • Not in default on any Federal aid and have a verified financial‑aid file.

Required skills

  • Microsoft Office
  • Basic computer skills

What we offer

  • Compensation of $10.00 per hour, up to 19.5 hours per week.
  • No State of Georgia benefits.
