About the role
Ochsner Health is seeking dedicated Family Medicine Physicians to join its Algiers, Louisiana location. You will diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions for both children and adults, providing comprehensive, continuous care.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and provide nonsurgical treatment for diseases and injuries in children and adults.
- Develop individualized care plans, including medical history, examination, diagnosis, treatment, and referrals.
- Collaborate with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and families regarding treatment and care.
- Refer patients to specialists when needed while maintaining responsibility for continuity of care.
Required profile
- Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.).
- License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
- Completion of a family medicine residency.
