Faculty Nursing ASN – Technical Faculty (Associate of Science in Nursing)

About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a Technical Faculty member to teach the Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program. This full‑time position involves delivering industry‑relevant instruction, supporting student success, and ensuring compliance with state and accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, and lesson plans aligned with state board policies and accreditation requirements.
• Deliver instruction using innovative teaching methods and instructional technologies.
• Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate attendance records.
• Coordinate and supervise experiential learning components, including practicum, simulated environments, and internships.
• Manage instructional supplies, budget requests, and laboratory safety plans.
• Prepare and submit required accreditation, administrative, and reporting documentation.
• Provide academic and career advisement to students.

Required profile

• Current licensure or certification to teach nursing at the associate degree level.
• Demonstrated experience in nursing education and curriculum development.
• Ability to comply with state standards, accreditation criteria, and college policies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and faculty.
