Faculty Cytopathologist – Academic Medical Center

About the role

Join a nationally recognized academic medical center as a Faculty Cytopathologist. You will practice high‑volume cytopathology, contribute to teaching, research, and multidisciplinary patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Perform subspecialty‑focused cytopathology sign‑out in a high‑volume academic practice.
• Participate in fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures and on‑site evaluations.
• Teach residents and fellows within established training programs.
• Engage in multidisciplinary conferences, tumor boards, and collaborative research projects.

Required profile

• MD or DO with board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology.
• Fellowship training in Cytopathology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in the applicable state.
• Strong diagnostic skills and interest in academic pathology.

Required skills

• Cytopathology expertise.
• Fine needle aspiration (FNA) technique.
• Diagnostic interpretation of surgical and cytology specimens.
