Facilities Custodian – 1st/2nd Shift (Part‑time & Full‑time)

About the role

Calvary Day School is looking for diligent custodial technicians to work first and second shifts on both part‑time and full‑time schedules. The role supports the school’s mission by keeping the campus clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to cleaning and sanitizing needs as directed by the Supervisor.
• Perform daily floor care—including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming—to maintain pristine surfaces.
• Manage waste disposal efficiently, keeping all areas tidy and free of clutter.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
• Maintain building exteriors, sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, and play spaces free of litter.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.

Required profile

• Good physical health with ability to perform duties for extended periods.
• Resilient, reliable, and resource‑ful with a positive attitude.
• Effective time‑management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Friendly, works well with others, and serves as a positive role model for children.
• High school diploma; prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
