Experienced Concrete Workers & Finishers - 2026 Season

About the role

Join BX Civil & Construction for the 2026 construction season as an Experienced Concrete Worker/Finisher. You will be a key member of the crew, handling concrete placement, finishing, and related tasks on various job sites.

Key responsibilities

• Set string lines, place, finish, and grade concrete.
• Load and unload materials and equipment, perform basic maintenance, and operate tools such as forklifts, tractors, loaders, jack hammers, shovels, and saws.
• Operate single rear‑axle trucks under 26,000 GVW to transport crew or equipment.
• Complete general labor tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years old with proven concrete finishing experience.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb regularly and work in a fast‑paced outdoor environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and travel to out‑of‑town projects.

Required skills

• Concrete finishing and form setting.
• Operation of forklifts, tractors, loaders, jack hammers, shovels, saws, and single rear‑axle trucks.
• Basic equipment maintenance.
