About the role

The Construction Discovery Shadow Program offers high‑school students a hands‑on, on‑site observation experience at BX Civil & Construction job sites, introducing them to the heavy highway construction industry.

Key responsibilities

Observe on‑site construction projects and learn project management processes.
Shadow professionals in field technology, supervision, mechanics, estimating and safety.

Required profile

High‑school students aged 16 years or older.
Interest in construction careers, trade school, community college or civil engineering studies.

Required skills

Ability to follow safety guidelines and wear provided PPE.
Transportation to and from the BX Project Office in Dell Rapids.
