Executive Communications Manager for CEO & Senior Leaders

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Communications Manager to support the CEO, SVP and senior leadership of Amazon Web Services. The role will design and deliver communication strategies that connect AWS leadership with employees, customers, partners and external audiences across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies aligned with AWS business priorities.
• Provide strategic counsel to the CEO and senior leaders on messaging, timing and focus.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define key messages, narratives and executive content such as speeches and presentations.
• Design and manage integrated communications plans across earned, owned and social media channels.
• Plan and execute engagement for industry events, keynotes and speaking opportunities.
• Ensure consistency of executive voice across internal and external communications.
• Guide executives on message positioning and delivery during critical moments.
• Offer real‑time counsel during sensitive or crisis situations.
• Navigate approval processes while maintaining message integrity.
• Build relationships with policy teams, executive staff and external partners.
• Deliver strategic employee communications to increase leadership visibility.
• Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

Required profile

• Significant experience in executive or senior‑level communications, preferably in a technology or cloud environment.
• Proven ability to craft clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to advise senior leaders on communication priorities.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly, both domestically and internationally.
