Associate Events Manager

About the role

The Associate Events Manager will support KNKX’s mission by planning, executing and evaluating live, virtual and hybrid events that connect listeners, artists, sponsors and community partners. Reporting to the Director of Community Outreach & Events, this role is based in the Seattle studio and follows a hybrid work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, production schedules and timelines for multiple concurrent events.
• Coordinate all phases of event planning, including concept development, logistics, venue selection, permitting, insurance, catering and transportation.
• Manage event volunteers and ensure effective collaboration with internal teams such as Marketing, Development, Digital, Engineering, News, Music, HR and Finance.
• Facilitate sponsorship activation and fulfillment in partnership with Business Support, Development and Marketing.
• Oversee post‑event evaluation, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Provide on‑site support during evenings and weekends as required.
