Executive Assistant to CEO

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support our CEO, Chad, in a fast‑moving, high‑growth environment. The role is fully remote with occasional in‑person collaboration in Austin, Texas, and offers the chance to work closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the CEO’s calendar end‑to‑end, protecting his time and prioritising meetings.
• Handle the CEO’s inbox autonomously, triaging, drafting responses and flagging high‑priority items.
• Apply a strategic lens to scheduling, ensuring participants are prepared and relevant.
• Plan and coordinate all travel arrangements with meticulous attention to detail.
• Serve as the connective tissue between the CEO and team members, assessing urgency and context.
• Build and maintain organisational systems, including AI tools such as Claude, to enhance efficiency.
• Anticipate needs proactively, often before they are voiced.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as an executive assistant to a CEO or senior executive, preferably in a high‑growth or startup setting.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion.
• Deep understanding of business operations beyond calendar management.
• Strong judgement in prioritising tasks with minimal oversight.
• Willingness to leverage AI tools like Claude to stay organised and move quickly.
