About the role
The Event Services Coordinator supports the Event Sales and Event Services teams at Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park. This position requires a proactive, detail‑oriented professional who can manage a variety of administrative tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and implement administrative systems and procedures for the events department.
- Serve as the primary source of information for the team, handling inquiries and updates.
- Prepare, maintain, and archive departmental records and reports.
- Manage the sales and catering lead log, ensuring accurate tracking of prospects.
- Assist Event Sales and Event Services Managers with ad‑hoc tasks and project support.
Required profile
- Strong multitasking ability and capacity to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external contacts.
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset, anticipating and resolving issues.
- Experience handling confidential and complex administrative duties.
