Cafe Associate

About the role

The Cafe Associate works as part of a dynamic team delivering high‑quality prepared food and excellent member service in a Sam's Club café environment. You will use digital tools, maintain food safety standards, and support the overall performance of the café area.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications and educate teammates on tools and processes.
• Prepare food according to item specifications, plan production, and ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cold‑chain standards.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment while managing inventory and rotating merchandise.
• Leverage handheld digital devices to make real‑time production, ordering, and quality decisions.
• Provide member service by greeting members, assisting with purchasing decisions, handling payments, and resolving issues.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, eliminate waste, and uphold quality and date‑control standards.
• Act as a brand ambassador, support training, and promote a respectful, team‑oriented culture.

Required profile
