Event Bartender (Part-Time)

About the role

Join High Spirits Hospitality as an Event Bartender, delivering smooth bar service and supporting event operations in a fast‑paced, people‑centered environment. This part‑time, permanent role involves bartending, setup, breakdown, and various hospitality tasks at events throughout Greenville and the surrounding area.

Key responsibilities

• Pour beer, wine, cocktails, and non‑alcoholic beverages with speed, style, and accuracy.
• Restock bar equipment, mixers, garnishes, and glassware before, during, and after shifts.
• Monitor guests for safe alcohol consumption, check IDs, and follow company policy and applicable law.
• Complete setup, breakdown, cleaning, loading, unloading, and side‑work tasks such as bar packing and furniture movement.
• Support banquet and event operations, including bussing, greeting guests, and food‑service assistance.
• Handle cash or credit‑card transactions accurately and complete required digital recaps.

Required profile

• 2+ years of bartending experience and ability to make basic cocktails.
• Comfortable performing event duties such as setup, dishwashing, cleanup, and guest entry support.
• Must be at least 21 years old, have reliable transportation, and possess a SC Alcohol Server Certificate.
• Ability to work frequent evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Must pass background check and drug screening and be authorized to work in the United States.
