Epilepsy/Neurophysiology Physician (EEG Specialist) – Full‑Time Academic

About the role

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport are seeking an Epilepsy/Neurophysiology‑EEG Specialist to join the Academic Neurology department and Level 4 NAEC‑accredited Epilepsy Center.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Educate medical students and neurology residents, supervising clinics, grand rounds, epilepsy conferences and didactic sessions.
• Participate in departmental activities and contribute to the growth of the Epilepsy program.
• Mentor and provide clinical expertise to faculty and residents.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Eligible for a Louisiana medical license.

Required skills

• EEG interpretation and testing.
• Neurophysiology expertise.
• Epilepsy management.
