About the role

Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – Shreveport are seeking an Epilepsy/Neurophysiology‑EEG Specialist to join their Academic Neurology department and Level 4 NAEC‑accredited Epilepsy Center. This full‑time academic position offers leadership opportunities for qualified candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions, including epilepsy and neurophysiology disorders.
• Provide education and supervision to medical students and neurology residents in clinics, grand rounds, epilepsy conferences and didactic sessions.
• Participate in departmental activities and contribute to the growth of the epilepsy program.
• Mentor faculty and residents, offering clinical expertise and guidance.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Eligibility for a Louisiana medical license.
• Leadership potential and interest in academic development.
