Entry-Level Material Handler

About the role

MP Systems, an OEM manufacturer of CNC accessories such as high-pressure coolant systems, chillers and filtration, is hiring an entry-level Material Handler in Enfield. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role works in either assembly or shipping and receiving and gives new hires the chance to learn the inventory structure and assembly techniques. It suits motivated people who can learn quickly, work in a team and want career growth.

Key responsibilities

• Review and follow production work orders and related documentation, such as bills of materials.
• Complete documentation thoroughly and accurately.
• Identify raw materials by part numbering systems and store them in the correct locations.
• Communicate with team leaders on assembly instructions, workflow adjustments and scheduling.
• Use hand and powered tools daily and build assemblies in designated areas.
• Use precision tools and measuring devices required for each work cell or area.
• Promote safe work practices and keep the workplace clean and organized.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
