Enterprise Risk Management Intern

About the role

The Enterprise Risk Management Internship offers hands‑on experience identifying and assessing risks within key processes at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Interns will support testing, reporting, and the development of risk culture initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess risks and controls within key processes.
• Coordinate testing and reporting of incidents, control validation, and monitoring of risk metrics.
• Research and analyze risk data, prepare quarterly risk reports and briefing materials.
• Develop and host training activities to expand employees’ risk knowledge.
• Prepare communications and training materials and assist the risk team with additional duties.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Business, or Finance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• At least one semester remaining before graduation.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. (citizen, permanent resident, or green‑card holder).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Experience with Tableau, Power Apps, and Power BI (preferred).
• Strong computer/technical skills and ability to multitask in a deadline‑driven environment.
