Engineering Manager

About the role

Consolidated Cooperative seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead planning, design, and reliability of electric distribution and telecommunications systems while developing a high‑performing engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Oversee system planning, infrastructure design, staking, construction work plans, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with operations, fiber, and member engagement teams to deliver projects and improve system reliability.
• Support GIS, AMI, and SCADA systems and assist with outage restoration and infrastructure upgrades.
• Assist with budgeting, contract development, bid evaluations, and long‑term planning for electric and telecommunications facilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; PE licensure preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive engineering experience, preferably in an electric utility environment.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, planning, problem‑solving, and project management skills.
• Leadership style grounded in integrity, accountability, emotional intelligence, and service.
