Engineering Lead, Claims Pipeline & CRM

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Lead to own and evolve Chariot’s claims pipeline – the core system that moves a submitted claim through eligibility, verification, and handoff to partner law firms. You will transform existing scripts and manual steps into a reliable, observable production pipeline while building and leading the engineering team around it.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a real‑time, event‑driven claims processing pipeline from prototype to production.
• Build claimant‑facing dashboards and the handoff mechanisms that connect claimants with partner law firms.
• Ensure pipeline reliability, observability, and performance as first‑class concerns.
• Contribute shared platform components such as internal tooling, micro‑service containers, and agent harnesses.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow the engineering team responsible for the pipeline.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping production software at a staff‑level scope.
• Track record of taking products from prototype to end‑to‑end delivery.
• Strong product instincts with a bias toward action and autonomous decision‑making.
• Background in early‑stage (Series A or earlier) startups.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead an engineering team, or clear readiness to do so.
