EMT/AEMT/Paramedic Laboratory Assistant

About the role

The Savannah Technical College seeks an hourly Laboratory Professional to support the EMT/AEMT/Paramedic program across its Savannah and Hinesville campuses. The role involves providing practical lab instruction, supervising students, and ensuring a safe training environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lab instruction and evaluate student performance to meet program standards.
• Supervise students during lab operations, monitor use of supplies and equipment, and enforce safety protocols.
• Travel between Savannah and Hinesville campuses as needed and attend required meetings.

Required profile

• Current NREMT certification as an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic with a valid Georgia license.
• At least one year of EMT/AEMT/Paramedic work experience within the past two years.
• Valid driver’s license, insurability, and ability to travel between campuses.

Required skills

• Knowledge of current EMT/AEMT/Paramedic procedures and best practices.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities for teaching and documentation.
