Electrophysiology Lab Radiologic Technologist – Full‑Time Days

About the role

This position supports the electrophysiology suite, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac arrhythmias. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, operates specialized imaging and monitoring devices, and ensures radiation safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and patients for EP studies, device implantations, and ablations.
• Operate EP specialty equipment (EP Hemodynamic, PRUCKA, stimulator) and radiographic fluoroscopy to obtain diagnostic images.
• Monitor patient vitals, analyze electrocardiographic data, and manage radiation dose to minimize exposure.
• Maintain sterile technique, assist with cardiac device implantation, and perform post‑procedure clean‑up.
• Document and file data in PACS and perform quality‑control checks on imaging equipment.

Required profile

• Associate degree in radiologic sciences (Bachelor’s preferred).
• Registered Radiologic Technologist in the state and ARRT registration.
• Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.

Required skills

• Operation of EP Hemodynamic, PRUCKA, and cardiac stimulator equipment.
• Fluoroscopy equipment use and radiation safety compliance.
• Advanced EKG and hemodynamic interpretation.
• Proficiency with PACS, computer software, and web‑based applications.
