Electrical Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a hands‑on Electrical Engineer to own the design, construction and commissioning of its high‑performance electrical infrastructure. You will shape the power distribution, lighting and control systems that enable cutting‑edge autonomous maritime platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electrical, power distribution and lighting design standards.
• Lead capital‑project scopes from early programming through field completion.
• Prepare and evaluate RFPs, qualifications and proposals for third‑party engineers, architects and contractors.
• Review third‑party electrical designs and provide owner‑based subject‑matter expertise.
• Size equipment, produce design documentation and oversee small‑scale projects.
• Conduct site visits to monitor installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Travel up to 10% for project‑specific site work.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Professional engineering license (PE) preferred.
• Proven experience delivering complex electrical systems in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC and IECC codes.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
