Electrical Drafter

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking an experienced Electrical Drafter to create detailed schematics and harness assembly drawings for autonomous maritime platforms. You will translate engineering specifications into precise manufacturing blueprints using industry‑standard CAD tools.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed harness assembly drawings with wire lists, connector callouts, labels and notes using Zuken E3.
• Collaborate with engineers to incorporate design requirements and revise drawings to meet project standards.
• Route harnesses in 3D using NX CAD software and ensure compliance with military and industry assembly standards such as IPC/WHMA‑A‑620.
• Provide technical support during harness construction and integration into vessels.
• Maintain documentation, filing systems and communicate updates to project managers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience creating electrical schematics and harness drawings.
• Associate’s degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and relevant industry standards (ABYC, ABS, IPC/WHMA‑A‑620).
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and teamwork skills.
