About the role

Brooklyn Lab Schools is seeking an enthusiastic ELA Teacher for the 2026‑27 school year. You will join a small, collaborative community where each scholar is known by name and supported holistically.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, Common Core‑aligned ELA instruction that prepares students for high school graduation and college success.
• Design thoughtful lessons, use data to inform instruction, and provide timely, actionable feedback.
• Maintain a structured, engaging classroom environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Collaborate with coaches, instructional leads, and fellow teachers to share best practices and mentor Small Group Instructors.
• Build strong relationships with students and families to foster a safe, inclusive community.
