District Installation Manager (Rockaway, NJ)

About the role

The District Installation Manager (DIM) at The Home Depot leads a team of associates who deliver the install customer experience after a sale. The role covers the full job lifecycle, from Pre-Installation and Job Site Inspections through job movement, service and warranty programs, and customer escalations. It reports to the Branch Install Manager and has 2-5 direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• Customer experience (40%): uphold installation process standards, make timely decisions on concessions and job movement, handle customer care tickets and close open services; conduct Job Site Inspections and address escalations
• Leadership (20%): hire, set goals and manage performance of the field install team, run training sessions, and work with the Sales Manager on shared learning about measures, products and job changes
• Operations (40%): use data and reporting to meet cycle time, customer satisfaction, reorder rate and gross margin targets; audit measures and run PIIs and JSIs; keep store and Core Services teams aligned

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; preferred background in construction or home improvement
• 10 years of work experience preferred; no prior leadership experience required
• Typical overnight travel of 5% to 20% of the time; intermittent periods of physical exertion such as lifting material or equipment

Pay range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Nevada, New York City, Ithaca (NY), Westchester County (NY) and Washington residents: $70,000 - $95,000.
