Distribution Administrator I (1st Shift)

About the role

TTI Consumer Power Tools, Inc. is hiring a Distribution Administrator I for its Anderson, SC location, working the 1st shift. The role maintains the material handling equipment and supplies needed for warehouse operations and provides administrative support to the logistics management team.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up with carriers by email and/or phone and establish pickup appointments
• Maintain shipment schedules and build orders in SAP for shipment
• Handle data in SAP and manipulate data in MS Excel
• Track shipments when necessary and assist with creating bills of lading
• Manage orders according to production capacity, schedule trucking companies and coordinate load-out schedules with distribution management
• Maintain communication with carriers, shipping supervisors, customer service, customers and the transportation manager to resolve shipment issues
• Keep friendly customer relations and other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 4 years of experience in administrative or distribution capacity
• No final warnings and no more than 6 attendance points
• Efficiency and quality goals met for the previous 3 months
• Must be in the current role for 6+ months

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP
• MS Excel
