Dispatch Specialist

About the role

The Dispatch Specialist supports the Transportation Department by coordinating with customers, suppliers, drivers, and internal teams. This position focuses on delivering excellent service while managing a fast‑paced, diverse workload.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Schedule appointments via phone, email, or web platforms.
• Communicate driver schedules and work assignments.
• Collaborate with multiple departments and apply lean tools to eliminate waste.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong mathematical, reading, and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Computer literacy and basic data entry.
