About the role

The Omaha Marriott at the Capital District is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join its hospitality team. You will support the hotel's food operations by ensuring dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment are clean, sanitized and ready for service in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine, loading and unloading according to standards.
• Sort, stack, store and return clean dishes and utensils to the appropriate kitchen areas.
• Keep the dish area and kitchen clean, including emptying garbage cans and performing routine cleaning tasks.
• Sweep, mop and dry floors to maintain a safe work environment.
• Transport soiled ware to designated areas and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Wipe down countertops, restock supplies and assist with equipment movement.
• Set up equipment and bus stations for events, anticipating service needs.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; experience in fast‑food, stewarding, food service or housekeeping is a plus.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 75 lb and push up to 150 lb.
• Comfortable working in noisy, fast‑paced and occasionally confined spaces.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
