Director, Solution Development Operations

About the role

The Director, Solution Development Operations leads operational excellence initiatives within Dematic’s Solution Development organization, collaborating across Sales, Engineering, Finance, and Commercial Operations to improve processes, drive AI‑enabled solutions, and scale delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define, standardize, and optimize core processes, workflows, governance routines, and cross‑functional handoffs.
• Lead strategic projects from concept through implementation, ensuring measurable impact and executive reporting.
• Drive AI‑enabled improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, consistency, and business outcomes.
• Develop scalable tools, templates, dashboards, and performance metrics for informed decision‑making.
• Facilitate organizational change, build collaborator alignment, and support adoption of new processes and tools.

Required profile

• Extensive expertise in operational excellence, process advancement, and business transformation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Technology or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives and influence matrixed organizations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using data, metrics, and dashboards for decision‑making.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% as business needs require.
