Director Product Management - Risk Management

About the role

Centivo’s mission is to provide affordable, high‑quality healthcare to workers and their employers. The Director of Product Management, Risk Management will own the stop‑loss and captive product portfolio, shaping how risk is structured, priced, and transferred for self‑funded employers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of stop‑loss and captive products, from design and launch through iteration and performance management.
• Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap that balances underwriting discipline with market competitiveness.
• Partner with underwriting, actuarial, finance, and network teams to define pricing frameworks, risk selection criteria, and reinsurance structures.
• Lead captive program strategy, including creation, performance assessment, and redesign.
• Represent Centivo’s risk capabilities externally with brokers, consultants, reinsurers, and industry forums.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in stop‑loss, captive, or related risk domains.
• At least 5 years of product management experience delivering products from concept to scale.
• Direct experience at a stop‑loss carrier, MGU, or health‑plan risk division.
