Director, Pharmacometrics

About the role

Allucent is looking for a Director, Pharmacometrics to lead high-impact modeling and simulation work within a Clinical Pharmacology, Modeling and Simulation (CPMS) environment. The role combines scientific leadership and strategic impact, guiding teams and mentoring pharmacometricians while providing strategic advice to clients at key development milestones, including representing them in regulatory agency interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and conduct population PK analyses using advanced modeling tools and methodologies
• Develop and implement approaches that improve the efficiency and accuracy of PK analysis
• Design, analyze and interpret clinical pharmacology studies (renal, hepatic, TQT, ADME, DDI, BE/BA, SAD, MAD, etc.) and advise on optimizing sampling and dosing strategies
• Provide strategic guidance to clients, own deliverables and develop clinical pharmacology plans
• Author and review PK reports and clinical pharmacology sections of regulatory documents
• Represent clients in regulatory interactions and contribute to business development and relationship management

Required profile

• Life sciences, healthcare and/or business degree
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience, including drug development, clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics
• Regulatory experience, including regulatory report writing and submissions such as INDs, CTAs, NDA/BLA/MAA and regulatory meetings
• Excellent organizational, negotiating and financial skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in NONMEM, Pirana and R software is preferred
• Client-focused leadership with strong communication and business acumen
