Director of Permanent Placement Services

About the role

Robert Half is hiring a Director of Permanent Placement Services in Raleigh, NC. You will oversee multiple practice directors and/or act as a practice director for one practice group, motivate and direct all branch employees, and drive incremental branch revenue growth in line with Robert Half targets. The role also includes leading marketing activities, cross-market collaboration and supervising the administrative functions of the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Drive branch growth through revenue-generating activities and multi-practice group performance, meeting productivity standards and operational best practices
• Recruit, train, develop and retain staff, build a high-performing team and identify high-potential performers
• Achieve revenue, margin and operating income goals, with expert knowledge of technology and an understanding of financial business trends
• Develop and execute a customer retention and expansion strategy, monitor service quality and build customer loyalty
• Lead and manage change, resolve issues with staff, clients and candidates, delegate responsibility and run effective meetings, trainings and presentations
• Mentor, coach and develop all staff, promote an inclusive environment and follow through on commitments

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferred
• 2+ years of management or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of talent manager experience
• Proven performance in talent manager and practice director roles
• Experience developing and managing budgets
• Demonstrated success in business generation and business development

Required skills

• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, databases and other systems
