Director of Marketing

About the role

The Driftwood Golf and Ranch Club, a Discovery Land Company property outside Austin, TX, is seeking a Director of Marketing. This senior leader will act as the on‑ground marketing lead, partnering with corporate marketing and the local sales team to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide brand and marketing expertise for property initiatives, including collateral development, communications, event planning and overall presentation.
• Create and manage communications related to sales and marketing initiatives.
• Conduct market research, deliver insights, and contribute to strategic planning.
• Develop the marketing plan and budget aligned with sales goals.
• Collaborate with the sales team to drive engagement in current and new markets.
• Project‑manage print and digital asset creation, including photography and videography.
• Oversee social media, CMS content, and property website listings.
• Maintain CRM data, reporting dashboards, and analyze performance metrics.
• Support corporate‑led events and manage digital sales tools and resources.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business and marketing preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience representing high‑end luxury properties or a relevant industry.
• Proven ability to partner with sales teams and manage cross‑departmental projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Experience managing content management systems (CMS).
• Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and reporting dashboards.
