Director of Branded Sales – Del Monte Brand

About the role

Pacific Coast Producers is seeking a seasoned Director of Branded Sales to lead the Del Monte fruit product line. This senior position will shape national sales strategy, drive brand equity, and ensure profitable growth across the Core Retail Grocery channel.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Branded Sales Managers to meet volume and revenue targets.
• Design and execute the national sales strategy for the Del Monte brand, defining channel priorities and go‑to‑market plans.
• Oversee national pricing architecture and trade‑spending budget, allocating trade dollars efficiently.
• Manage relationships with national broker agencies, holding them accountable to KPIs.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to translate sales data into production forecasts and pack plans.
• Participate in top‑to‑top meetings with major national accounts to close high‑stakes deals.
• Serve as the primary voice of the Del Monte brand within PCP, coordinating with Marketing, Finance, and Logistics.
• Administer the department budget, including travel and promotional spending.

Required profile

• 8+ years of sales experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods sector, preferably with branded food products.
• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience leading a sales team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
