Direct Markets Account Specialist I

About the role

Zurich Direct Markets is seeking an Account Specialist to join the Sales & Account Support team. The role supports regional sales staff with property casualty, finance and insurance tasks to drive growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with underwriting document collection, renewal delivery, signatures and payments.
• Coordinate production documents, internal reports and update reporting systems under manager and sales direction.
• Liaise between customers, field staff, regional office and home office departments.
• Maintain accurate customer contact information in Zurich systems and handle policy requests.
• Respond quickly to inquiries, provide status updates, and identify cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of sales or sales support experience, or Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an associate degree and 1+ year experience.
• Licensed for insurance products in the states of assignment.
• Knowledge of sales, marketing, underwriting and claims processes.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with DocuSign functionality.
• Understanding of property & casualty (P&C) and finance & insurance (F&I) underwriting and claims.
