Digital Content Strategist – Marketing Strategy & Engagement

About the role

The Digital Content Strategist for the Berkley School of Nursing leads the content strategy across the school’s digital channels, driving brand awareness and supporting enrollment marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop content strategy, personas, and campaign recommendations aligned to program and enrollment goals.
• Own the editorial calendar and manage website content refresh for nursing.georgetown.edu.
• Collaborate with the marketing agency on SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies.
• Set social media strategy and oversee brand‑aligned content across school channels.
• Write and edit email and customer‑journey content within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Manage content briefs, deliverables, and timelines with the agency.
• Partner with admissions, faculty, and development to source accurate content.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in digital content strategy covering web, social media and SEO.
• Proven ability to manage an editorial calendar and content refresh for a multi‑audience website.
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and performance tools such as Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
• Strong writing and editing skills for diverse audiences.
