Digital Account Manager - Sales Strategy & Client Services

About the role

Adprime by Newsweek is looking for a passionate and motivated Account Manager to join its Sales Strategy & Client Services team. The role oversees a book of businesses, covering client relationship management, digital media campaigns and requests for proposals (RFPs). It supports Sales in closing new business, growing and retaining existing accounts and ensuring client satisfaction, acting as the liaison between internal teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage digital media campaigns, including display, mobile/tablet, OTT, pre-roll video, lead generation and custom sponsorships
• Monitor daily delivery metrics, give clients optimization recommendations, ensure campaigns meet KPIs and secure incremental budgets and renewals
• Work with Ad Ops and Publisher Development teams on campaign analysis and optimization strategies, and build reporting with proactive performance updates
• Help troubleshoot issues and collaborate to solve them
• Assist Sales with upselling new or existing products and help grow DSP client accounts
• Respond to RFPs, develop media strategy and create Excel and PowerPoint proposals
• Analyze brand briefs, use DMPs to segment audiences and forecast inventory, and request avails and build site lists with Publisher Development
• Build and manage first-party data segment libraries and work with third-party data providers on segments and inventory forecasts

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience in digital media (planning and/or campaign management); managed service and DSP/exchange experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines and solve problems
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail and ability to analyze data and share findings
• Advanced English writing and speaking skills (mandatory)
• BA/BS degree required

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, with strengths in Excel and PowerPoint
• Preferred: programmatic experience, prior healthcare advertising experience, and managed service and DSP/exchange experience
