Development Analyst

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Development Analyst to support its development platform by performing financial analyses, preparing underwriting documents, and coordinating with brokers, equity partners, and internal leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and build pro‑forma models for development opportunities.
• Gather and analyze market data, prepare development memoranda, reports, and market summaries.
• Maintain relationships with brokers, equity partners, lenders, and other stakeholders, managing communications for proposed transactions.
• Assist in due diligence, prepare documentation, and provide recommendations on key findings.
• Monitor and report on transaction status, establish timelines, and address issues affecting closing.

Required profile

• Internship or work experience in real estate finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, real estate, economics, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail, creative problem‑solving, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Financial modeling and cash‑flow forecasting.

• Base salary range $95,000 – $114,000 per year.
