Destination Services Executive

About the role

The Destination Services Executive acts as the primary liaison between the sales team, member organizations, public agencies and the hospitality industry to ensure groups visiting Atlanta have a seamless experience and are motivated to return.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Atlanta subject‑matter expert for meeting planners, hospitality partners and external resources.
• Source ACVB member companies for client needs (speakers, transportation, venues, catering, etc.) and submit RFPs.
• Coordinate and host site visits, arranging accommodation, transport, meals and inspections.
• Organise pre‑convention meetings with city services (APD, MARTA, taxis, ambassadors) and participate in pre‑show promotional meetings.
• Manage city décor packages, promotional material customization and obtain official welcome letters.
• Supervise administrative staff, coach interns and oversee program budgets, commissions and invoicing.
• Maintain CRM records, stay updated on member hotels, venues and industry trends, and represent ACVB at hospitality events.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Atlanta’s hospitality market, especially hotels in Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead.
• Experience supervising staff and managing multi‑project programs.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with public officials, vendors and members.
• Ability to coordinate logistics for large groups (minimum 250 room nights).
